Welcome to
Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico
The 10th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists will be held in the University of
Sonora (UNISON), in conjunction with the UPAEP University and the National Network of
Scientific and Tecnological Activities for Youth in Mexico (LaREDMex).
This is the first time Asian Pacific Conference of Young Scientist is held out of Asian Region,
being Mexico the host country based on the close relation.
The aim of the conference is to promote and foster the atmosphere of scientific research
amongst secondary school students in the Asia-Pacific region by providing opportunities to
share their research findings. Over the last months, the worldwide concern has mounted
inexorably about the COVID-19, resulting in the imposition of rigorous and restrictive
border checks with a possibility of compulsory quarantine. To that concern, the
conference has been set in the digital platform to take extra precautions as students are
involved in APCYS 2021
The students shall submit projects in one of these categories: Mathematics, Physics,
Computer Science, Environmental Science, and Life Sciences. Each country. The projects
are expected to be submitted in the forms of extended abstract, scientific poster, and oral
presentation video. NOTE: The participation of countries is based on the invitation to the
representative of the countries.
